Thanks to our plum county
The Ume-Shu is one of very familiar liqueurs in Japan. Our county Wakayama produces about 60% of total plum production in Japan.
They have several bottles of ume-shu container in every home. They provide their own ume-shu from plum in trees here and there with their home-made technique. It may be, therefore, called our county liqueur.
Heiwa Shuzou started to brew the Ume-Shu in 1995, thanking to our plum county, Wakayama. Taking advantage of this location, and having the technical assistance and studies by the industrial knowledge institute and the brewing folks, our Ume-Shu has gotten matured and completed after the various trials and tasting. None of these cooperation and trials can be disregarded in this matured Ume-Shu of Heiwa Shuzou.
We are pleased to brew our Ume-Shu with the plum from this county Wakayama with further and more studies and tasting trials, which we believe is our mission in Ume-Shu brewing here. We sincerely thank all the people and institute for their cooperation and assistance which have produced this fine and tasty Ume-Shu.
